If an error occurs, something like the following will be the result instead of the normal output:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><\/td><td><strong>*Error!*<\/strong><br>&nbsp; &lt;Type&gt;Authorization&lt;\/Type&gt;<br>&nbsp; &lt;TypeCode&gt;1&lt;\/TypeCode&gt;<br>&nbsp; &lt;Desc&gt;Your license key does not work on this service.&lt;\/Desc&gt;<br>&nbsp; &lt;DescCode&gt;8&lt;\/DescCode&gt;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four error types described below. For DOTS Lead Validation International, the first two will be the most common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"LVI-Errors-ErrorTypes\">Error Types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-table-section\"><table><thead><tr><th>Type<\/th><th>TypeCode<\/th><th>Billable<\/th><th>Standard Across All Gen2 Web <br>Services<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Authorization<\/td><td>1<\/td><td>No<\/td><td>Yes<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>User Input<\/td><td>2<\/td><td>Yes<\/td><td>No<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Service Objects Fatal<\/td><td>3<\/td><td>No<\/td><td>Yes<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Domain Specific<\/td><td>4<\/td><td>Yes<\/td><td>No<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"LVI-Errors-Errortype1:Authorization\">Error type 1: Authorization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-no-bullets-indented-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>These errors are standard for all&nbsp;Generation 2 DOTS Web Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-table-section\"><table><thead><tr><th>DescCode<\/th><th>Desc<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>0<\/td><td>Unknown authorization error.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>1<\/td><td>Please provide a valid license key for this web service.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>2<\/td><td>The daily allowable number of transactions for this license key has been exceeded.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>3<\/td><td>The monthly allowable number of transactions for this license key has been exceeded.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>4<\/td><td>The total allowable number of transactions for this license key has been exceeded.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>5<\/td><td>There are not enough transactions available. Check your daily\/monthly transaction limits.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>6<\/td><td>This license key has not yet been activated.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>7<\/td><td>This license key has expired.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>8<\/td><td>Your license key does not work on this service<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"LVI-Errors-Errortype2:UserInput\">Error type 2: User Input<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-no-bullets-indented-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>These errors occur as a result of bad input. DOTS Lead Validation International allows for all input fields to be optional, so the only time this error will show up is with a bad or omitted TestType or Country input.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-table-section\"><table><thead><tr><th>DescCode<\/th><th>Desc<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>1<\/td><td>TestType is required to run Service.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>2<\/td><td>That does not appear to be a valid TestType.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>8<\/td><td>The Country input is missing.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>9<\/td><td>The Country is not currently supported.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"LVI-Errors-Errortype3:ServiceObjectsFatal\">Error type 3: Service Objects Fatal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-no-bullets-indented-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is a rare error that signals either a bug in the DOTS Lead Validation International&nbsp;service, or a Network\/Connectivity issue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-table-section\"><table><thead><tr><th>DescCode<\/th><th>Desc<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>1<\/td><td>Unhandled error. Please contact Service Objects.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"LVI-Errors-Errortype4:DomainSpecific\">Error type 4: Domain Specific<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-no-bullets-indented-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Domain specific errors represent the normal errors seen in Service Objects services. For example, if the user is looking for an address in DOTS Address Validation and the address does not exist, a valid domain specific error is &#8220;Address not found.&#8221; There are currently no domain specific errors for Lead Validation International. This is because, in DOTS Lead Validation International, every normal error is not an error but a valid test result that will result in a positive or negative point swing.
